Irona of Sweden
Steel work, done
properly.
No shortcuts, no work that won’t last. Just steel, made properly.

Founder, Irona of Sweden
Dane Ryberg McNulty
Australian-born, with a path through Canada before settling in Stockholm twenty years into a career working steel.
Self-taught on the tools his father used — building everything from furniture to architectural fit-outs before starting Irona.
“My dad was an engineer. My earliest memories are of him in the garage, late at night, making things. He passed away in 2010. I never got to take over his business. At 21 I was too young, too restless. I ran. I spent the next twenty years fabricating steel for other people. Furniture, handrails, sculptures, restaurant fit-outs. Beautiful work. But always someone else’s vision. I moved from Australia to Canada. Then to Stockholm. And somewhere along the way I started to understand what my dad was doing in that garage. He wasn’t just making things. He was making things his way. I get it now. So I’m doing the same.”
“This is Irona of Sweden. Things made from steel. Stockholm, Sweden.”
